I bought five Katahdin Ewe Sheep from a friend, but he says Dorper Sheep are the best meat sheep. He also said you can bread them together to get a good meat sheep. He knows sheep pretty well, been breading sheep most his life. I have Dorper Ram on order; so in 2025, I will have Dorper/Katahdin babies. I will be keeping the females, and butchering the males for meat; till I get too many females.
