KuneKunes

Breed of domestic pig

I wasn’t planning to get pigs again for some time, but the opportunity presented itself. The last pigs I had were Potbellies. The guy I bought them from lied to me and said they were KuneKunes. When I showed up to get them, I knew they weren’t KuneKunes. However; they had a good personality, so I bought them anyway.

I’ve always wanted KuneKunes; so when I had the opportunity to get them again, I got one. Laura’s mom thought he was lonely; so Laura’s mom and dad bought us a female, so he would have a friend.

The Kunekune is a small breed of domestic pig from New Zealand. Kunekune are hairy with a rotund build, and may bear wattles hanging from their lower jaws. Their colour ranges from black and white, to ginger, cream, gold-tip, black, brown, and tricoloured. They have a docile, friendly nature. Wikipedia
